The Project:
Project Management
The project is implemented by the project team who report to the project management group (PMG) made up of representatives from the following organisations:
- Coillte
- Forest Service Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food
- National Parks and Wildlife Service Department of Environment Heritage and Local Government
The PMG meets quarterly to discuss project actions and progress.
The PMG is supported by a broader based Project Advisory Panel (PAP) that meets annually.
Coillte acknowledges the funding received from the EU LIFE-Nature programme to make this project possible. The project reports annually to the EU LIFE Unit of the Directorate General Environment of the European Commission. Each year, a representative of the European Commission visits the project to monitor progress.
